Nesteled tightly to in a nest of feathers, sticks and branches lay the spirit of Wind. His cave wasn't touching the ground, only to make it easier for the great bird to soar inside gracefully. The cave itself was taller than the other spirit's, only because this is where if nesscary the bird could stretch his wings. A beam of morning light shone brightly into his cave from the light which strangely exsisted in the Temple.
The great bird of air, Akin, flinched in now awoken sleep as the morning light seeped through the crevise of his eye-lid. Akin licked his beak as he opened his beady eyes slowly. The light wasn't as bright as Akin thought, but nevertheless it still was there. Akin raised his black head slightly from it's tucked-in position and stretched his neck. Akin then unfolded his impresive wings to stretch them out as well. Then, only to make them fall to the sides of the nest.
The nest itself was balanced 'pon a tallish rock in the centre of his cave. Meaning that any slip and Akin would be on the rock ground. Akin looked around, everything was the way it should have been. Good. Akin stood up slowly as if he was an old man. But, his age may have defeated the odds of life, but he wasn't classed as old or weak. No, he was in good health. And shalt always will be. Akin yawned before unfolding his wings once more to jump from his nest to the ground. Akin's cave had a large entrance with a small tunnel following after it.
The black eagle waddled accross the floor untill he had reached the large opening. His large talons gripped tightly to the edge, and only slightly below was the ground level. Akin stretched his wings out once again to leap from the rock and catch wind underneath him in which he made. Akin landed gracefully onto the centre which had a large patern made from the different colours of rock. Akin looked around, the caves on the side looked empty. He didn't dare to step foot in one, or else probably a mad spirit would venture out. Akin smirked as he threw his head to face the impressivly high ceiling. He gave a loud but strangely beautiful screech which echoed into the caves. Anyone awake? Well, they are now.

In the spirit Hallow's tower, there was a stir of movement on the four-poster bed. A dark shape seemed to move, twisting and turning powerfully. It semed to rock back and forth, then sit up in the shadowy form of a wolf. The shadow seemed to stretch, flexing muscles that were not really there. The wolf shadow change to a ball of...nothing. It was a hovering shape, just nothing. Hallow had been woken by the eagle's screech. The opals that were his eyes narrowed in annoyance; he would have loved to have slept a little longer. Not of course that he needed the sleep. The opal ciricles narrowed and seemed to disappear as the spirit closed his eyes. He seemed to sigh.
His black gassy body transformed into a cougar like figure and he leaped down onto the floor. The black paws did not touch the floor as he made his way through the closed door without opening it and walked towards the eagle's room. The black puma walked through the door to the eagle's room and sat down, without touching the ground. He just floated. The eagle was not there. So, Hallow shape-shifted into a hawk and flew down into the main hall of the temple in which the spirits of Autumn Scar lived. He transformed back into a puma form and looked at the eagle.
Akin, did you ever think some of us liked sleeping? The spirit's tone was cold. The spirit's voice seemed to emit from his body. The opal's narrowed slightly, holding the eagle's gaze calmly. The form of the puma's head tilted as Hallow waited for a answer from the bird. He knew it would not be long before the other spirit's came down to see what the noise was. Hallow would rather talk to Akin about who wakes who up before that happen.

Curled into a comfortable ball, the petite vixen looked as though she was deep in slumber, yet her icy eyes were wide open. The spirit known as Kire wasn't sitting and staring at the wall of her room for nothing, no, she was deep thought. Her mind was revolving around first of all, the horses, were they staging a comeback? It seemed to appear that way, but one must not assume things. She'd learned from experience that assuming things could leave you standing hopelessly.
A powerful screech shattered her thoughts and made a small imaginary question mark appear above her head. What could that have been? Obviously it was Akin, a fellow spirit, but why so early. Surely some of the other spirits had been sleeping and there was no doubt that the ear-splitting call had woken up a majority of them. Oh no! But what if it wasn't just some spur of the moment shriek? What if they were having a meeting of sorts and she had missed the memo and that bellow was to summon her immediately.
Untwisting herself from her comfortable position, the spirit of water stretched quickly and bounded out of her room. Looking down at the hallway below she saw only Hallow and Akin, but figured perhaps the others were somewhere that she couldn't see. Leaping gracefully from her spot on the ledge, Kire sailed through the air for a couple of seconds before easily landing on her paws. Now seeing that it was indeed only Hallow and Akin, her body stiffened. Hallow appeared to look annoyed, though one could really never tell with him.
Looking curiously at the two the small fox tilted her head but opted to say nothing incase this was some sort of argument or punishment. Now what was it that people said about assuming?

Akin ruffled his feathers by moving around his folded wings. Then, he lowered his head back down to see nobody awake. "They'll come ..." Akin thought, and repeated it in his head. His beady eyes jotted around the place, searching for any sign of an awoken spirit. But, none. The lazy buggers. Morning is rise and shine time, not stay and sleep time. You're meant to do that in the night, not early morning. Akin then shook his head in disbelief, his horn pointing out like a dangerous sword.
The eagle looked up to see the sudden form of a puma floating, it can only be one; Hallow. The shape-shifting shadow. Mm what a nickname. Akin smirked as Hallow's cold voice began to echo through-out the temple's main hall. He ruffled his feathers again with his wings as if to keep warm. Akin looked into Hallow's eyes as he opened his beak to speak. "Ah, sleep is meant to be done at night, not early morning." Akin said in his sarcastic but serious kind of voice. He rolled his eyes the other way in another sarcastic kind.
Akin always looked at Hallow with awe. A floating shadow which had no owner, but himself. How he would kill to be one of them for a day. But, there was always a disadvantage. Hallow called him the messenger. Akin shivered at the thought. Messenger. Just a meesley messenger. Great. Akin just loved to be shown more respect towards him. Most of the horses would get their comebacks by calling him messenger. And, a sign of disrespect in a form of a horn. Sure, Hallow is a great creator 'n' all. But, there were some times in which Akin would love to pound him to hell. Well... all I can say is; thank god Hallow can't read minds.

Hallow's puma form disappeared. He converged on the eagle, hiding him from view. The hall they were in shivered as the spirit let his fury be known. That was not something that one wanted; an angry Hallow could kill. Even though the spirits themselves could not die, Hallow knew of more punishments than anyone else in the world. He should, he was probably the oldest thing on the earth. His voice sounded; it was quiet, meant for only Akin's ears.
Unless you wish to be disfigured even more than you already are, Messanger, you will wake the others up when I and only I tell you to. Got it? Hallow's voice, though low and soft, was like ice, making the temperature in the room drop several degrees. He floated up, then landed, in the form of a massive wolf. He was even larger than Kain in this form. He turned his shadowy head to look at Kire. He gave her a nod.
Good morning, Spirit Kire. How are you? he said, the sound resonating from his body. The wolf's mouth did not move. The opal eyes that set in his face remained on the red fox, then flicked back to the black eagle. He was eager for Akin's response. True, he would probably not start quaking in fear, but Hallow's fury was known to even make Kain flinch away. An angry Hallow was a very bad thing, indeed.

Akin immediatly ducked his head down as if to protect himself. The sound rang in his ears and felt like they were going to burst, not actually doing so. He cursed a million times in his head repeatadly, making his anger slowly dissapate. Akin made wind spiral around his head only as if to block the loud noise, which only worked to a very small scale. The noise then stopped, and Akin made the fast spiralling wind stop also. Akin didn't listen to Hallow's voice but just took in his tone. Akin was only having a bit of fun..
He mumbled faintly then raised his head just at the moment Hallow 'jumped' over him. Akin then heard Hallow speak of Kire. "That flaming bastard... he was only making himself look sharp for that bitch!" Akin thought, but not turning his head round to see the one he named. His muscles tensed incrediably, the anger level was just raising higher and higher. The only one who really knew how to piss him off was Hallow. Akin turned his small eyes to slits as he whisked himself round to face them. Akin then leapt into the air and stretched out his wings within one second. Then, Akin made a gust of wind the speed of the worst huricane ever to pick him up underneath his wings. Within five seconds he had glided over the top of Hallow and Kire and was out the temple door already. The fast wind effected the two spirits as well as he did so.
Akin was off to take anger out by snapping or breaking anything he could find. Within an instant he was out the temple and already out of the 'cloud' in which the temple resisded on. He was heading nowhere in particular, Akin would just spend the day breaking things on his own. [Exit:Akin]

Kire strained herself not to listen, occupying the time with fluffing her tail and grooming. None of it was needed though because she had already washed earlier this morning when she'd first awoken at the break of dawn. However, she would not give the impression that she was indeed listening in on such a powerful spirit like Hallow. It was then that she figured he probably knew that she'd been catching tid-bits of their conversation all along.
It was then that Hallow turned to look at her. Nodding back respectfully, Kire watched as Akin tensed, obviously her presence had been lost on the great eagle. Ah well, he'd go off and make a tornado somewhere or something. Looking back to Hallow, her icy eyes blinking in thought, she decided upon an answer. Good morning Hallow. I am doing good, very hopeful of the young horses I saw yesterday. How about you? Her tone was silky and smooth yet almost clever sounding, as any fox's would be.
Her mind then wandered once more to the horses. Oh God how she wished they would stay. Then more horses would be attracted to the land and a whole new herd would form. Pretty soon more herds wold begin and there would be kings and queens, leads, and darks and lights. It would be just like before, only different. This time Kire would try, with every fiber in her being, to make sure that chaos didn't erupt like before. Yes, this time would be different, much different.

Hallow watched the eagle fly off, feeling his anger spike higher. But the shadow closed his opal eyes for a moment, controling himself very well. He'd not take his anger out on Kire. The old spirit didnt like doing favourites, but he enjoyed Kire's company more than anyone else's. Even Kain's, who had been the first spirit to approach Hallow.
Gaze flicked back to Kire and the shadowy wolf rose to walk over. He shifted into a fox, so that he could look at her from her own level. Usually, Hallow used whatever form the spirit he was talking to had. Or, he just floated as a shadow. The shadow fox sat down in front of Kire, watching her silently.
So, the horses had returned to Autumn Scar? He was suprised, yet very pleased. Well, except for dealing with the idiot eagle, fine. You say, there are horses here again? Hallow's voice, normally cold as ice, was light and happy.

Curling up quite randomly, Kire watched Akin soar off as well. He had such a quick temper, perhaps it was the wind. yes, maybe the eagle spirit just couldn't help it. Standing back up for no apparent reason, the petite red fox wondered if maybe if she was a wind spirit, would she be temper-mental? Nah, her nature was kind, but perhaps. Anything was possible. Ooh, or what if it was because he was a male? Ooh, insight! Hmm, maybe all males were just meaner than females. It was a thought.
As Hallow turned back to face her, Kire cleared her head to focus on what the great spirit had to say. Yes yes, I saw them very clearly. There weren't a lot but the genders were pretty even. She reported, icy eyes flashing with enthusiasm. This was such a great chance for Autumn Scar. The chance for renewal, for revival. If they took this opportunity to rebuild the herds and replenish the land, then Autumn Scar might once again be alive with the sounds of horses and life. Do you think they will come back? She asked in a soft tone, referring to the whole entire species of equines on Autumn Scar.
Ah how her mind did work. Kire was quite a imaginative little fox, and it rather suited, with her being a spirit and all. Her mind seemed to be endless with possibilities and thoughts and ideas. Her opinions were most always respected and her ideas were rarely just tossed to the side. yes, it seemed as if Kire was very intelligent.

((You play her well.))
Hallow's shadow face showed no emotion, but if something could be seen, he'd be scowling in anger. The eagle had given him grief for many centuries, and many times, the shadow spirit had considered removing his powers and casting him into the real world. Shadowed sides moved up and down in a silent sigh.
Attention returned to Kire, and he listened to her words. She seemed so hopeful that the equines would return. Hallow hoped so as well; the land had been silent for far to long. I hope and pray they do, Kire. Autumn Scar has been lonesome without the equines. Too silent. I miss the neighing of the foals, the sounds of hoofbeats on pack dirt.
His voice trailed off, ringing off the walls of the temple before fading away. Sadness overlaid his tone, and his shadow fox ears dropped. Hm, seems Hallow had a heart afterall. [/blockquote]

ooc;; ;D Sank joo.
ic;; Hallow's words hit Kire as a subtle reminder of the chaos, and the blood. Shuttering lightly, she nodded, striking eyes brimming with hope. So do I, but I think we have a chance! Her tone was so hopeful it was almost sad. The day after I first spotted the horses, I didn't see them, but just yesterday I saw a few just wandering around. Perhaps they will stay. Infact I think they will. The fox smiled softly, tilting her head to the side in thought.
Even though she kept reminiscing about the 'good old days', Kire couldn't wait for it to happen again. But what if history repeated itself? That would be terrible. Hallow... She paused, unsure if it was alright to ask. can you break the curse? I mean the curse of Autumn, is it permanent? This was quite a debatable subject. The land had forever been paused, and always would there be leaves on the ground and a crisp feel to the air. Not that she didn't like the Autumn, but winter had always been her personal favorite because of the ice. She wouldn't dare go against Hallow though, for not even Akin was that dumb. Sure he argued, but never really really tweaked at the great spirit's insides and decisions.

((Welcome))
The shadow fox disappeared, and Hallow hovered in his favourite shape, a cloud of nothing. He was clearly thinking hard, the opal orbs closing slightly as he thought. Her words were so hopeful, but the truth was, the horses might not make a full comeback. A feeling of worry radiated from him, enabling the fox to feel it as well.
Her next words startled him...and brought a hint of anger to the surface. His body slowly became a cougar again; the black puma laid down to stare at the fox. He hesitated, fighting down the anger her words had brought. No...the curse has been on the land too long. Perhaps, if you had asked this 50 or so years eariler, I may have been able to. But not now. The Autumn Curse is now beyond my control.
His voice was so low, and so soft. Regret was in it, but there was a cold sense of certainty. Hallow beleived that the land needed to be in autumn; if had always been his favourite season and always would be. Still, he knew Kire loved winter and could not blame her. All the spirits had a season they loved most. [/blockquote]

Kire could tell he was thinking incredibly hard, and possibly even fretting about the equine situation. Therefore she knew not to disturb him and simply curled up on the ground. Once more her mind set off, but this time to a different subject. Would the fate's of the horses have been different if the land wasn't paused at Autumn? Would the fighting had ceased and the lands put at peace? It was certainly something to dwell on, but never an issue to surface to words. A much too touchy subject.
Hallow's refocus on her, brought the red fox from her thoughts and she looked up at him, instantly sensing anger. Listening to the spirit's words, she shrunk back ever so slightly and hung her head in guilt. Now it was too late and it could have been all turned around. Sighing softly, she wondered if she had mentioned it fifty years ago would it have made a difference? Perhaps not, Hallow was so set on his decision and perhaps it was better this way, she had a feeling it was.
Well, no reason to think about it. Kire spoke softly, her eyes once more on the shadowy puma. I do intend to speak with the horses in their dreams though, I don't know if it would help, but I was hoping to try and coax them to stay. At least for a while. Well, if that's alright anyway. Once again she looked hopeful, but this time of Hallow. She so desperately wanted to communicate with the equines.

During the silence, Hallow took a moment to think. It was true of what he said; The Autumn Curse was now unbreakable. But...ther emight be a way to break it. It he could get all the spirits together, and they put all of their powers together, they may be able to break the curse. Hallow shook his head roughly; no. The horses would grow used to the neverfading season.
Kire's voice startled him out of his thoughts. She wished permission to visit their dreams. He granted it instantly. Absolutely. Talk to them in their time as well, while they are awake. If we can convince them to remain, perhaps Autumn Scar will begin to flourish again. he said, eagerness in his tone.
He hesitated again, thinking. He wanted to offer the fox some resurrance. But he could think of nothing to say that would let her feel better. Nothing at all.

As she was granted permission to do so, Kire's eyes flashed with relief. The small fox had actually already sort of visited a couple of the horses, just a brief 'hello, why don't you stay' dream, it was harmless really. Now that she had Hallow's approval though, Kire figured the guilt thing would go away. Sighing loudly with a small smile, she tilted her head and looked at the sky. Though Akin hadn't really woken her up, he might've broken the other spirit's slumbers, so perhaps some of the equines were still sleeping. She could visit them now!
By now, the water spirit, needed no reassuring, she was a very bounce-back kind of gal. Alright, I'll definitely get on that, thank you. She replied, her bushy red and white tail swishing back and forth eagerly. Actually I'm going to go talk to them now. And with that the small red fox nodded to Hallow lightly and bounded down the hall of the temple. Once at the edge, she glanced over her shoulder. Wish me luck! And down the little fox leapt, to search out the horses.
ooc;; I just sort of assumed that the ones that couldn't fly would just jump.
