Alabaster tapestry switching about in the brisk wind, a dove-y physique appeared over the hill. Her dark eyes hardened as she took in the scenery, it was breath-taking. Yet Alcatraz was a picky fae, and if she was going to be taking shelter here temporarily then she would very much like to meet the lead of the lands. Then again perhaps this domain was a no man's land, a place without an owner. That would be interesting, but also a little dangerous. Without a lead, the terra could be spewing with rabid dogs and ferocious wolves. Then again with leads, it might be hard to convince him/her that she was infact a trustworthy mare and only seeking shelter for a short time before living up to her nomadic reputation and continuing on her way.
It was what most would call a beautiful day, sun shining, birds singing. Yet Alcatraz was in a foul mood. She'd wandered this godforsaken planet for many years now, and still she had yet to see another equine. This was an exaggeration considering the mare had been a part of a herd not that long ago, but she was a dramatic dove and this was all part of her personality. Scraping back a thin layer of the Earth, she huffed lightly and flopped onto the ground in one quick motion. This place sure was boring! That was another thing, this particular female was a lively one and couldn't stand silence. That was why so many horses thought it odd that she preferred a life of solitude. She double-crossed herself a lot which just added to the irony and all around Alcatrazness of her.
Raising her dial to the sky and tasting the air she squinted in thought. It seemed deserted alright, but there was something that told her it wasn't. Call it gut feeling, call it cautiousness, call it whatever you like, but Alcatraz was not going to sit here unsuspecting. To resolve this little bout of wariness, she looked about before emitting a short whinny. When she heard nothing in response, the fatale rose up and called out, louder this time.
Still nothing. Hmmm. Perhaps they were of the Score alliance and were licking their disgusting lips right now. Her eyes growing twice their normal size in sudden fear, Alcatraz struck the ground and paced almost in place. She utterly loathed being scared, and when your mind played into it and made everything look threatening. So there she stood, alert and nearly shaking in her skin.
